How it works
How EDGR works
Three moves. One live competition. Pick a team, ride the margin on your virtual bankroll, and climb the leaderboard.
1. Pick one team each game day
Select the AFL side you want for that day’s window. You can change before bounce. When the game starts, the pick locks.
2. Every point changes the virtual bankroll
AFL scoring uses $1,000 of virtual bankroll per point of margin. Example: you pick Hawthorn and they lead by 12 points — that’s approximately +$12,000 on your virtual bankroll while the margin holds. If the opposition kicks and the margin shrinks, your virtual bankroll moves with it.
3. Climb the live leaderboard
Rank updates as live scores flow. Everyone plays the same universal EDGR competition.
Strategic tools
Captain’s Call doubles the result on one pick. Freeze locks a live result when the margin is yours. Quotas reset on the Melbourne calendar month — see AFL rules.
