EDGR is a free-to-play live sports margin game. You start with a virtual bank, pick one team per day, and watch your bank move with the live score margin. AFL is live now; more sports are on the way. There is no real-money play—it's a live leaderboard game built around sport, not betting.

No. EDGR is not gambling. There is no real-money wagering, no stakes, and no cash-out from a bet. You play with a virtual bank only, for fun and leaderboard competition.

Everyone starts from the same kind of virtual bank shown in your profile. Each day you align with one team's margin; as the game runs, your bank updates live based on how that margin changes. You never deposit real money, and the bank is for scoring and rank only.

For AFL, you choose one team for each day's pick window. That team is your margin side for that day. Your virtual bank follows the live margin for that match under EDGR's AFL rules—for AFL, the app uses $1,000 of virtual bank per point of margin, as shown in-game.

Picks lock at game start (when the match begins). After that, you can't edit that day's pick for that game.

Yes. You can change your pick any time before lock. After the game starts and the pick is locked, it stays as submitted for that fixture.

Scores and margins update from the live feed EDGR uses. Your virtual bank moves in real time as the margin changes, so you can see the effect during the match. What you see in-app follows that feed.

The leaderboard is the main place to see how your virtual bank compares to other players. Rank reflects bank performance for the competition or view you're on, and it updates as live games progress.

If you don't submit a pick for a day or window, you simply don't participate for that opportunity—there's no auto-pick. You won't get that day's margin result on your bank for picks you didn't make.

Leagues are groups where you compete on the same leaderboard slice. You can join public leagues or private leagues. Private leagues use a join code so only people with the code can enter. Your profile still shows your overall bank, rank, stats, and bankroll journey.

You need an account to save picks, join leagues, and appear on leaderboards. Some pages may be viewable without signing in, but playing properly requires a profile.

Live data depends on the feed EDGR receives. If your TV or another app is slightly ahead or behind, numbers may not match for a moment. The app updates when the feed updates; refresh or wait briefly if something looks out of sync.
